Today we are going to make a nifty little iPhone stand out of a single piece of paper. Its not fancy origami or anything, but it has worked out well for me! So find a piece of paper and lets get started!
Today we are going to make a nifty little iPhone stand out of a single piece of paper. Its not fancy origami or anything, but it has worked out well for me! So find a piece of paper and lets get started!
Step 1: Acquire a piece of paper. I use 8.5” x 11” but A5 should work nicely too. Please be sure that you have a legal right to use the paper, though of course doing this with stolen paper would have its own special picquancy.
Note: ydgidy.com does not condone the stealing of paper
Step 2: Fold the paper in half, longwise.
Step 3: Fold the folded edge up 1/3 of the height.
Step 4: Unfold the last fold.
Step 5: Make a ring by tucking one end into the fold about 1.5”-2”. Make sure the crease you unfolded faces inward.
Step 6: Tuck the fold up into the ring.
Step 7: Flatten the ring, using the edge of the tuck as a guide for making the edge.
Step 8: Now flatten it in the other direction (bring the two creases you made together).
Step 9: Now if you open it up, you should have this. If you don’t you need to work on following simple instructions better. You should also feel bad about yourself.
