My kids like Veggie Tales. Yes, I know they are annoyingly religious at times, but there is also quite a bit of quality humor. One of my personal favorites is the Cheeseburger Song.
Anyway, there is one with the story "The Snoodle's Tale" promoting the viewpoint that god "made" them and they are that way for a reason and they should be happy about that. I have seen similar from other religious tripe. Well that isn't a bad thing right? They go through life happy that god made them they way they are and that is okay! Until they realize that they are gay. Then god hates them for him making them they way they are. Screeeeeeech!
Wait, you said the I was made the way I am so god made me to hate me? WTF Diety?
"No", says the pompous windbag hateful asshole xian, "being gay is a choice". Yeah, sure. Everybody would want the diety they grew up believing made them just the way he wanted me to hate them now so they will take up buggery Ha ha, choke on that god.
And tragically this make sense to some people out there...
